quotecloud_update_block

Shallow-merge a patch over the published payload of an existing block. Works on documents in either contentMode: supply revisionToken (from quotecloud_inspect_structure) for the normalized form, or expectedRevision for the revisioned fine-grained form: one or the other, never both. Address the block by blockId or blockLinkId. Named fields replace their whole value; unnamed fields are untouched. Opaque block types fail with schema_not_published. Acquires the editor lease and the block lock.

The block’s API Link ID (BlockData.apiLinkId), the short handle set in the editor. Supply this or blockId, not both; a link id shared by several blocks is refused as ambiguous. string

revisionTokenOptional

Document revisionToken from quotecloud_inspect_structure. Selects the normalized argument family, which works in either contentMode; the write is refused with a *_revision_conflict if the document moved since it was read. string
