Read a permission-visible company or published system template, including metadata, taxonomy, version state, compact authoring structure, safe document settings, required custom data, and supported merge fields. Requires templates:read; no side effects. Template content changes remain available only through the authoring tools, which separately require templates.contentEdits and manageDocumentTemplates.
