quotecloud_import_document_asset

Copy a file from a direct-download HTTPS URL into QuoteCloud storage for this document; the source file is not made public. Accepts temporary pre-signed or pre-authenticated download URLs (e.g. a SharePoint/OneDrive file's Microsoft Graph @microsoft.graph.downloadUrl, or an S3 pre-signed GET URL) as well as public links; SharePoint sharing links that require sign-in cannot be fetched, so read those files and use quotecloud_prepare_document_asset_upload instead. The importer revalidates and pins public DNS on every redirect, limits the download to 50 MB, and verifies the file signature (generic download content types such as application/octet-stream are accepted when the bytes match). Pass a stable clientId to make retries safe: a repeated call returns the already-imported asset with alreadyImported:true without downloading again. For PDFs to embed as pages, pass the returned assetId to quotecloud_insert_pdf_pages.
