FAQs
How do I assign passengers to flight segments in a flight-style itinerary?
Open the flight-style itinerary in QuoteCloud, locate the specific flight segment, and use the segment's context or edit menu to assign passengers. Select the passenger(s) you want attached to that segment — the selection will save immediately and appear on the travel document so each flight leg shows the correct travellers.
How do I remove passengers from a flight segment?
To remove passengers, open the flight segment's context or edit menu, deselect the passenger(s) assigned to that segment, and confirm the change. The passenger will be unassigned and the document will update so the segment no longer lists them.
What are the steps to delete an unwanted itinerary segment from my document?
Find the itinerary segment you want to remove, right-click (or open the segment context menu), choose "Delete Content," and confirm. The segment is removed immediately and the remaining itinerary content will automatically reposition within the document layout.
What happens to my document layout after I delete a segment?
After deletion, QuoteCloud immediately removes the segment and automatically reflows the remaining itinerary content so the document stays clean and organised. You can continue editing, add new segments, duplicate existing ones, or make other layout changes as needed.
Can I keep editing the itinerary after removing or reassigning segments?
Yes. Once a segment is deleted or passengers are reassigned, you can continue editing the itinerary—adding new segments, editing existing entries, duplicating segments, or adjusting passenger assignments—until the document is finalised.
Can flight itineraries created in QuoteCloud be used inside sales quotes or proposals?
Yes. QuoteCloud lets you embed flight-style itinerary segments inside branded proposals and quotes, so travel details appear clearly within your sales documents. This makes it easy to produce professional quote software and proposal software outputs that include accurate travel information for clients.
How does a two-column layout affect itinerary segments and exports to PDF or email previews?
Two-column layouts can improve readability by placing itinerary details and supplementary content side-by-side. In QuoteCloud, two-column pages will export correctly to PDF and render in email previews; the platform also adapts columns for smaller screens so content remains accessible. If columns don’t align, check segment padding and column settings within the document builder.
Any best-practice tips for managing itineraries when using QuoteCloud as sales quoting software or proposal software?
Keep itinerary segments concise and consistently formatted, assign passengers to each relevant flight leg to avoid confusion, and remove outdated segments promptly. Use templates and two-column layouts for clean presentation, and preview the document as PDF and email to ensure the itinerary displays correctly in your quote software or proposal software outputs.
