FAQs
How do I create a new itinerary template in QuoteCloud?
Open the Templates area from the left-hand sidebar and click the green Create Template button. In the setup modal enter a Template Title, choose or create a Category, optionally add a Description, then click Create to generate the template. The QuoteCloud editor will open with a blank itinerary template ready for customization.
What fields should I fill out when setting up an itinerary template?
At minimum enter a clear Template Title and select a Category to keep templates organised. Optionally add a Description to explain the template’s purpose or structure. Finally choose whether to Publish the template immediately or Save as Draft (only published templates are available when creating new documents).
How do I add itinerary and pricing placeholders so travel data fills automatically?
After creating the template, hover over the page and click the Append (+) button to insert content blocks. Choose itinerary placeholders and pricing table blocks from the block library and place them where needed—these placeholders pull automated travel and pricing data when you create a document, saving time and reducing manual edits.
What is a two-column layout in QuoteCloud and why should I use it?
A two-column layout splits a page into left and right sections so you can present itinerary details and pricing or images side-by-side. It improves readability and creates more professional-looking travel documents, which is especially useful when building branded itineraries with your quote software or proposal software.
How do I create a two-column layout on a document page in QuoteCloud?
Use the Append (+) button while editing the template, select a layout block, and pick the two-column option. Once the two-column block is added you can drop text, images, itinerary placeholders or pricing tables into each column and adjust spacing or styles as needed.
Can I save an itinerary template as a draft and publish later?
Yes. During template setup you can choose to Save as Draft or Publish. Drafts let you continue editing without making the template available to creators; only published templates appear when users create new itinerary documents.
How do I add text, images and pricing tables to my itinerary template?
In the template editor hover and click Append (+) to add content blocks. Insert Text blocks for descriptions, Image blocks for photos or maps, and Pricing Table blocks for costs and optional client selections. Combine these blocks with itinerary placeholders to build a complete travel document.
Can QuoteCloud itinerary templates be used with my sales quoting software or proposal software workflows?
Yes. QuoteCloud templates are designed to integrate into document generation and sales workflows—create reusable itinerary templates that produce consistent, branded itineraries and link them with your quote software or sales proposal software processes so proposals and quotes include accurate itinerary and pricing information.
