FAQs
How do I add a file attachment to a travel itinerary segment in QuoteCloud?
To attach a file, right-click the itinerary segment you want to update and select Add an attachment from the context menu. Choose a file from your computer in the file browser and confirm the upload. Wait for the upload confirmation that appears in the bottom-right of the editor—once successful the file will display directly below the itinerary segment. You can then continue editing the itinerary as needed.
What types of files can I attach to an itinerary segment?
Attachments are commonly used for tickets, travel documents, confirmations and PDFs, and can also include images and other supporting files. The document editor accepts standard document and image formats; if you need an exact list for your account or any corporate restrictions, check your account settings or contact QuoteCloud support.
Can I attach multiple files to a single itinerary segment?
Yes. You can add more than one attachment to the same itinerary segment—each uploaded file will appear beneath that segment. This is useful for grouping related documents like tickets, hotel confirmations and local transfers together on the same segment.
How do I rename or remove an attached file after uploading?
After a successful upload the attachment appears below the itinerary segment. Use the rename or remove options shown with the attachment in the editor to change its title or delete it. If you don’t see those options, right-click the attachment or check the editor toolbar for attachment controls.
Will recipients be able to download the attachments I add to itinerary segments?
Yes. When an attachment is linked to a segment it becomes available to recipients to view or download from the itinerary document. This makes it easy to deliver tickets, confirmations and supporting materials alongside your travel proposal or quote.
What should I do if an attachment fails to upload?
If an upload fails, first check your internet connection and confirm the file type and size meet any account limits. Try uploading again, or refresh/reopen the document editor. If the bottom-right upload confirmation doesn’t appear after a retry, clear your browser cache or try a different browser. Contact QuoteCloud support with the file name and a screenshot if the problem persists.
Are there file size or account limits for attachments?
File size and attachment limits can vary by account plan or organizational settings. QuoteCloud processes uploads automatically, but if you expect large files (high-resolution PDFs or images) check your account settings or admin documentation for limits. As a best practice, compress large documents before attaching to keep itineraries lightweight.
How do attachments in QuoteCloud improve my travel quotes and proposals?
Adding attachments to itinerary segments helps create clearer, more professional travel documents—clients get instant access to tickets, confirmations and supporting files right where they belong. For travel teams using sales quoting software or sales proposal software, embedding attachments reduces back-and-forth, increases transparency, and strengthens proposals created with QuoteCloud’s document editor. This makes your quote software and proposal software workflows more efficient and client-friendly.
