FAQs
What is the CCTE API Configuration in QuoteCloud?
The CCTE API Configuration connects QuoteCloud to a Tres CCTE travel data source so that detailed travel itineraries can be imported and displayed automatically inside your documents. This integration lets QuoteCloud act as part of your sales quoting software and sales proposal software workflows by embedding generated itineraries into quotes and proposals.
How do I set up Tres CCTE integration in QuoteCloud?
From the QuoteCloud Dashboard open Settings, then go to Users & Roles → Teams and click Edit for the team you want to configure. In the team settings choose Travel API Settings, select the Tres CCTE tab, pick an itinerary template, enter your Tres CCTE credentials (Doc Link API URL, CCTE Branch Code, Password), and click Save. After saving, open the chosen itinerary template to confirm it’s correctly configured.
Which credentials and connection fields are required for Tres CCTE?
The Tres CCTE connection requires three main fields: the Doc Link API URL, the CCTE Branch Code, and the account Password. Enter these values on the Tres CCTE tab in Travel API Settings for the selected QuoteCloud team and then save to activate the integration.
Where do I select itinerary templates and automated API placeholders?
Within the team’s Travel API Settings choose the Tres CCTE tab and then select the itinerary template that will be used for CCTE-generated itineraries (for example, Travel Itinerary Template (Style 1)). Configure any automated API placeholders inside that template so incoming CCTE data maps to the correct fields in your document. After saving the integration, open the template to confirm placeholders and layout.
Who can configure the CCTE API for a team in QuoteCloud?
Team-level administrators or users with edit permissions for a QuoteCloud team can configure Travel API Settings. Access is through Settings → Users & Roles → Teams → Edit; only users with the appropriate admin/role permissions should enter API credentials and change team integration settings.
How can I verify the Tres CCTE integration is working correctly?
After saving the Tres CCTE settings, open the itinerary template you selected and run a test import or create a sample itinerary to confirm data populates correctly. Check that automated API placeholders are filled, that itinerary sections render as expected, and that no authentication errors occur. If available, review integration logs or connection tests in QuoteCloud for status messages.
What are common troubleshooting steps if the CCTE API integration fails?
First verify your Doc Link API URL, CCTE Branch Code, and Password are correct and have not expired. Check network/firewall settings to ensure QuoteCloud can reach the CCTE endpoint. Confirm the selected itinerary template contains the proper API placeholders and that the chosen team has the integration enabled. Re-save settings and look for error messages or logs in QuoteCloud; if problems persist, contact QuoteCloud support with your integration details.
How does the CCTE integration improve my quoting and proposal workflows in QuoteCloud?
By automating itinerary import and embedding travel details directly into templates, the Tres CCTE integration speeds document creation, reduces manual editing and errors, and enhances the professional appearance of travel quotes and proposals. This makes QuoteCloud’s quote software and proposal software capabilities more powerful—letting sales teams produce accurate travel itineraries inside sales quotes and proposals quickly, improving turnaround and client experience.
