FAQs
How do I edit an existing template in QuoteCloud?
Open the Templates section, find the template you want by browsing or using the search, then click the template card’s Click to edit button. The template opens in the QuoteCloud Document Editor where you can add, remove, or modify content blocks, images, text, layouts, and other template elements.
When you’ve finished customizing, use the editor’s preview tools and publish or save the template so it’s available for use in your quotes, proposals, and other documents.
What kinds of changes can I make in the Document Editor?
The Document Editor lets you update layout and design (columns, sections, spacing), swap or add images and logos, edit text and placeholders, change branding and styles, and configure content blocks used across documents. You can adjust any template element needed to match your business requirements.
These edits let you create consistent sales quoting software and sales proposal software outputs that reflect your brand.
Can I preview or test a template before using it in a live quote or proposal?
Yes. While editing you can preview the template inside the Document Editor to see how content and layout render. For a full test, create a draft document using the template (for example a sample quote or proposal) to verify dynamic fields, pricing tables, and branding before publishing.
After editing, how do I make the template available for quotes and proposals?
Once you finish customizing, publish or save the template in the Document Editor. Published templates appear in your Templates library and can be selected when creating new documents—so your updated template will be available in your quote software and proposal software workflow immediately after publishing.
