FAQs
How do I duplicate a template in QuoteCloud?
To duplicate a template in QuoteCloud, go to the Templates section, locate the template you want to copy, click the three-dot options icon on the template card, and choose Duplicate Template. A new copy will be created that you can edit independently. This quick process saves time when creating similar documents in our sales quoting software or sales proposal software.
Will duplicating a template change the original template?
No. Duplicating a template creates a separate copy—editing the duplicated template does not modify the original. This keeps your master templates intact while letting you customize the copy for specific quotes or proposals using our quote software and proposal software features.
Can I edit the duplicated template independently from the original?
Yes. Once the system creates the duplicated template, you can open and customize it independently—update branding, content, layout, or variables—without affecting the original template. This makes it easy to maintain consistent templates while tailoring documents for particular customers or use cases.
Where can I find the Help Center for QuoteCloud?
The Help Center is accessible from within QuoteCloud (look for the Help link or ? icon in the app header or footer). It contains documentation and step-by-step tutorials for common tasks like duplicating templates, using our quote software, and getting the most from our proposal software.
