FAQs
What does 'Set a Product as Draft' mean in QuoteCloud?
Setting a product as Draft changes its status from Active to Draft/Inactive so it is no longer available for new use while remaining in your Product Catalogue. This lets you temporarily remove items from your sales quoting software or sales proposal software without permanently deleting them.
How do I set a product as Draft in QuoteCloud?
Open the Product Catalogue and locate the product you want to update. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Edit button to open the product actions menu, then select "Set as Draft." The product status updates immediately — no additional confirmation is required.
Will setting a product as Draft delete it from my account or remove it from existing quotes and proposals?
No. Draft products remain stored in your Product Catalogue so you can restore them later. They are removed from active selection for new quotes or proposals generated by your quote software or proposal software. Existing documents that already include the product typically remain unchanged; always verify affected quotes or proposals if you're unsure.
How can I reactivate a product that I previously set as Draft?
To reactivate a product, open the product's actions menu in the Product Catalogue and select the option to set it back to Active (or similar). The status will update immediately so the product becomes available again in your quote software and proposal workflows.
Can I set multiple products to Draft at once (bulk action)?
Bulk options vary by account and interface. Check the Product Catalogue for multi-select or bulk action controls that let you change status for several items at once. If you don’t see bulk controls, contact QuoteCloud support or consult the Help Center for guidance.
Who can set products as Draft — are there permission requirements?
Typically users with Product Catalogue, product management, or admin permissions can change a product’s status. If you don’t see the Set as Draft option, ask your administrator to confirm your account permissions or to perform the change for you.
Where can I find the Help Center and what resources are available?
You can access the QuoteCloud Help Center from the main application navigation (Help or Support links) or via the footer on most pages. The Help Center includes step-by-step guides, training materials, FAQs, and instructions for integrations and features of the QuoteCloud document and quote software.
If you need extra help, the Help Center explains how to submit and track support requests and where to check for system outage notices.
What should I do if the Help Center doesn't open or I need to submit a support request?
If the Help Center fails to open, try refreshing your browser, clearing cache, or using a different browser. If the problem continues, submit a support request through the in-app support link or email the QuoteCloud support team. You can track the status of submitted requests in the Help Center’s support portal or via the confirmation email you receive.
