FAQs
What happens when I delete a product from the QuoteCloud Product Catalogue?
Deleting a product permanently removes it from your QuoteCloud Product Catalogue. The product will no longer appear in the product list after the catalogue refreshes. Because deletion is permanent, double-check any selections before confirming to avoid losing important product data used in your sales quoting software or proposal software workflows.
How do I delete a product in QuoteCloud?
To delete a product: 1) Open the product actions menu by locating the product and clicking the dropdown arrow next to the Edit button. 2) Select Delete from the options. 3) Confirm the deletion when prompted to permanently remove the product. 4) Verify the product has been removed when the Product Catalogue refreshes.
Can I recover a product after I delete it?
No — deletion permanently removes the product from the Product Catalogue. If you may need the product later, export or document its details before deleting, or recreate the product manually if required. Take care when removing items used by your quote software or sales proposal software processes.
Will deleting a product affect existing quotes or proposals?
Deleting a product removes it from the Product Catalogue, but the effect on existing quotes or proposals can vary. Before deleting, review any active quotes or proposals that reference the product. If you rely on historical documents or automated workflows in your sales quoting software or proposal software, contact support or consult the Help Center to confirm how existing documents will behave.
Where can I find QuoteCloud's Help Center and what resources are available?
The Help Center is available from within QuoteCloud (usually via a help or support link in the app). It includes step-by-step guides, searchable articles, training materials, troubleshooting tips, and instructions for common tasks like product management in the Product Catalogue. It’s the best place for self‑help documentation related to QuoteCloud’s quote software and proposal software features.
How do I submit a support request and can I track its status?
You can submit a support request through the Help Center’s support or contact form. After submission, most support systems provide a ticket or request number and let you track status updates and responses. Use that ticket to follow progress or provide additional information about product-deletion issues in the Product Catalogue.
Are training materials available to learn more about product management and QuoteCloud features?
Yes — the Help Center typically contains training materials such as how‑to articles, video walkthroughs, and onboarding guides covering product management, creating quotes, and generating proposals. These resources help you get the most from QuoteCloud as a sales quoting software and sales proposal software solution.
What should I do if the Help Center doesn't open or if I suspect a system outage?
If the Help Center won’t open, try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, using a different browser, or checking your network connection. If the issue persists, submit a support request or contact your account administrator. For larger outages or service issues, check QuoteCloud’s system status page or status notifications (if available) for real-time updates.
