Fix pricing rules after deleting items
Understand pricing delete warnings, missing references and copying tables with rules.
Deleting a pricing row, section or table used by rules shows the affected rule names. So does deleting a column, section or page that holds a pricing table. You can cancel or choose Delete anyway. Those rules stop working until you fix their missing references, including their other actions.
In the phone editor, the item is deleted straight away and the undo message says how many rules need fixing. Select Undo to put it back.
Open Logic to find rules marked Needs fixing. Open a rule to choose a replacement item, or disable or delete it. Replacing rows through an integration can also leave missing references. The send flow warns about these rules without preventing you from sending.
When you create a share link, a second warning identifies pricing rules that depend on form answers. A share link without a recipient can view such a document but cannot accept it. Send to a named recipient who can answer the form.
Duplicating or pasting a table copies its internal rules and keeps a Works both ways pair together. This also applies when you duplicate a group, column, section or page that holds the table. Rules reaching outside the table do not copy. Duplicating individual rows does not copy rules. If you cut a table and paste it, its rules still point at the old table and show as Needs fixing. If rule copying fails, the duplicate table remains and a message tells you to add the rules from Logic. Without the Conditional Pricing add-on, the table still duplicates, with a note that its rules were not copied.
