Pricing rules in PDFs and integrations
See how hidden and crossed-out pricing items appear in PDFs and integration line items.
A PDF shows pricing rules the same way the document does. Before a document is accepted, the PDF uses the latest answers and selections. After acceptance it uses the results saved at that moment, and later rule edits don't change them.
Hidden items and section headings do not print. A table whose rows are all hidden by rules does not print either. Crossed-out items stay visible with a line through them and are excluded from totals.
Zapier invoice line items and Salesforce product sync omit hidden and crossed-out items. Rows manually excluded from totals are also omitted. Salesforce refreshes keep a matched row's saved rule result when updating its price or changing it between a product and a heading.
A row that rules left out of the Salesforce sync stays in the document when a Salesforce refresh doesn't include it. A row set to Required was sent to Salesforce, so removing it there removes it from the document.
