FAQs
What types of videos can I embed in a QuoteCloud document?
QuoteCloud supports embedding externally hosted videos such as YouTube and Vimeo links for inline playback. Embedding these streaming links keeps documents lightweight while enabling recipients to watch demos, walkthroughs, or testimonials directly inside your proposal.
How do I insert a YouTube or Vimeo video into a document?
Open the QuoteCloud document editor, place the cursor where you want the video, and use the Insert/Media (video) option to paste the YouTube or Vimeo link or embed code. Adjust the video block size and alignment, then save the document. The QuoteCloud User Guide (Edge Edition) Version 2025 contains step‑by‑step screenshots if you need more detail.
Will embedded videos play inline for my clients?
Yes — videos embedded via YouTube or Vimeo links play inline inside QuoteCloud documents, improving engagement and making your sales materials more interactive without forcing recipients to leave the proposal page.
Can I add videos to sales quotes and proposals created with QuoteCloud?
Absolutely. Adding product demos, case study videos, or personalized messages is a great way to enrich sales quotes and proposals. QuoteCloud’s document builder makes it easy to include multimedia in your sales quoting software and sales proposal software workflows to increase conversions.
Does embedding a video increase my document file size or affect delivery?
Embedding YouTube or Vimeo links uses streamed video rather than uploading large files, so document file sizes remain small and delivery remains fast. This approach is ideal for quote software and proposal software where efficient sharing and fast load times matter.
Are there privacy or permission issues I should consider when embedding videos?
Yes. Make sure the video’s visibility settings on YouTube or Vimeo allow your intended audience to view it (public or unlisted as appropriate). If the video requires additional permissions or is behind a login, recipients may not be able to play it inline in your document.
Can I keep consistent branding and templates when I add videos to documents?
Yes. QuoteCloud supports templates and branded themes, so you can insert videos while preserving your company’s visual identity. Using templated sections in your proposal software ensures videos appear consistently across quotes and proposals.
Is embedding videos supported for bulk or automated document production?
Yes. QuoteCloud is built for efficient, high‑volume document production and automation, so embedded video links can be included in templates and generated documents at scale. This makes it easy to add multimedia to many sales documents without manual editing each time.
