FAQs
What methods can I use to add images to my document?
You can add images by uploading files from your computer, dragging and dropping image files directly into the document editor, or selecting images from QuoteCloud's built‑in image library (the Unsplash picker). These options make it quick to enhance quotes and proposals created with sales quoting software or sales proposal software.
Can I drag and drop images directly into the editor?
Yes. Drag an image file from your desktop or a folder into the document editor to insert it quickly. The image will be added at your current cursor location or inside a selected Image block, so you can place visuals without navigating menus.
How do I choose images from the built‑in image library?
Click into an Image block in the editor to open the Unsplash picker. From there you can browse categories or search by keyword, then click an image to insert it at the cursor's location. Using the built‑in library is a fast way to add professional visuals without leaving your proposal software.
Where will an inserted image appear in my document?
Images added via upload, drag‑and‑drop, or the built‑in library are placed at the editor's current cursor location or inside the Image block you've selected. This gives precise control over placement—use headers, product sections, or template blocks to position visuals where they best support your message.
Can I include images in templates or branded documents?
Yes. Images can be added to templates and branded documents so your proposals and generated documents remain visually consistent with your brand. Add logos, header graphics, product photos, and other visuals to maintain a professional, on‑brand appearance in your quote software and proposal software workflows.
How do images improve quotes and sales proposals?
Visuals help communicate product details, showcase branding, and make proposals more engaging. Adding clear product photos, diagrams, or branded headers can increase client trust and clarity when sending documents from sales quoting software or proposal software.
What are best practices for using images in my documents?
Use high‑quality images that support the message—place them near product descriptions, pricing tables, or section headers. Keep visuals consistent with your brand and use the Unsplash picker for professional stock images when needed. Optimise file size for fast loading and test templates to ensure images appear correctly in generated documents.
How can I manage or replace an image after inserting it?
Open the Image block where the image was inserted to replace it by uploading a new file or selecting a different Unsplash image. You can also remove an image from the Image block if it no longer fits the document. Managing images inside the editor helps keep quotes and proposals accurate and visually consistent.
