Choose a task
Go to your Gantt Chart and choose the task you want to change. You can edit details such as the task title, start date, and end date.Double-click the task
Double-click on the task to open the right-hand sidebar panel. This panel lets you edit the selected task details.Use the right-click menu instead
You can also right-click the task you want to edit. This opens the task context menu.Open Edit Task
Click Edit Task to modify the selected task’s details. The Gantt Chart Data Editing panel will open on the right.Review the task details
The editing panel shows the task title, start date, end date, percent completed, and parent task. Use these fields to update the selected task.Change the task title
Click inside the Title input box. Start typing the new task name, then press enter when you are done.Confirm the title update
The task title will update immediately. You will see the new title reflected in the Gantt Chart task list.Open the date picker
Click the calendar icon beside the start date or end date. This opens the date picker for that field.Choose a new date
Once the calendar opens, choose the desired date from the picker. Repeat this for the start date or end date as needed.Review the updated task
After selecting the new dates, the task timeline will update. You have now completed updating the task’s start and end dates.
