FAQs
What does "Set as Draft" mean in QuoteCloud?
Setting a product to Draft temporarily deactivates it in your Product Catalogue without deleting any of its data. Draft products won’t appear as active choices when creating quotes or proposals, making this a safe way to hide seasonal or discontinued items while preserving pricing, descriptions, and history for later use.
How do I set multiple products as Draft at once?
Use QuoteCloud’s bulk actions to change multiple items to Draft in a few clicks:
1. Select the checkbox beside the first product you want to change. 2. Continue selecting checkboxes for each additional product. 3. Click the Actions button in the table header. 4. Choose Set as Draft. 5. Confirm the products now show Draft in the Product Catalogue.
Can I change products from Draft back to Active?
Yes. You can reverse the Draft status using the same bulk-actions workflow. Select the Draft products, open the Actions menu in the table header, and choose the appropriate action (such as Set as Active or Publish). The products will immediately update in the Product Catalogue so they are available again for quotes and proposals.
Will setting products as Draft delete their pricing or history?
No. Drafting products does not delete pricing, descriptions, or transaction history. QuoteCloud keeps all product information intact so your sales quoting software and proposal software records remain complete and auditable.
Where is the Actions menu and how do I select products for bulk changes?
The Actions menu appears in the header of the Product Catalogue table. Select products by checking the boxes to the left of each product row; once you’ve selected one or more products the Actions button becomes active. From there you can choose Set as Draft and other bulk actions supported by your quote software.
How do I confirm that products were successfully set to Draft?
After applying Set as Draft, the Product Catalogue updates immediately. Check the Status column for each selected product to confirm it now displays Draft. You can also run product filters or searches to verify drafted items are hidden from active product lists used in proposals and quotes.
Can I access the Help Center from anywhere in QuoteCloud and what resources does it offer?
Yes — the Help Center is accessible from within QuoteCloud. It includes step-by-step user guides, troubleshooting articles, training materials, and FAQs tailored to quote software and proposal software workflows. You’ll also find guidance on integrations, such as connecting QuickBooks Online, and tips for using QuoteCloud as your sales quoting software.
How do I submit a support request or check for system outages if the Help Center won’t open?
