FAQs
How do I delete a Contract Plan in QuoteCloud?
Open your Contract Plans library, locate the Contract Plan you want to remove, then click the dropdown arrow beside the Edit button to open the Contract Plan actions. From the menu select Delete and confirm the action in the confirmation dialog to permanently remove the Contract Plan.
This workflow is part of QuoteCloud's document and proposal management—useful when maintaining an organized library for your sales quoting software or sales proposal software processes.
Is deleting a Contract Plan permanent?
Yes. When you click Delete in the confirmation dialog the selected Contract Plan is permanently removed from your QuoteCloud library and the list refreshes to reflect the change.
Because deletion is permanent, treat this action carefully—consider exporting or duplicating important Contract Plans before deleting if you may need them later.
Where do I find the Contract Plan actions menu?
The Contract Plan actions menu appears beside each Contract Plan in the library. Locate the plan you want to change, then click the dropdown arrow next to the Edit button to reveal actions such as Delete.
This quick-access menu is designed to make maintenance of templates and contract items in your quote software or proposal software fast and intuitive.
What should I check after deleting a Contract Plan?
After you confirm deletion the Contract Plans list will refresh automatically; verify that the deleted Contract Plan no longer appears in the library.
If you still see the plan, try refreshing the page or clearing local cache; if the issue persists contact support via the Help Center.
Can I recover a Contract Plan after deleting it?
No—deleting a Contract Plan from QuoteCloud is a permanent action and cannot be undone from the user interface. The confirmation dialog is provided to help prevent accidental removals.
As a best practice when using any quote software or proposal software, export or duplicate critical Contract Plans before deletion so you retain a reusable copy if needed.
Do I need special permissions to delete a Contract Plan?
Deleting Contract Plans typically requires the appropriate account permissions. If you do not see the Delete option in the actions menu, you likely need elevated permissions or must ask your QuoteCloud administrator to remove the plan.
Contact your system admin or submit a support request through the Help Center for assistance with account permissions.
Can I delete multiple Contract Plans at once?
The steps in this guide describe deleting a single Contract Plan via the actions dropdown. If you need to remove multiple plans at scale, check the Help Center for bulk-management options or contact QuoteCloud support for guidance.
Planning bulk deletions carefully helps keep your sales quoting software and proposal software libraries tidy while avoiding accidental loss of templates.
Where can I get help if I have trouble deleting a Contract Plan?
Visit the QuoteCloud Help Center for step-by-step articles, training materials, and the option to submit and track support requests. The Help Center also lists system status and outage information if you suspect a service issue.
If the Help Center does not open, try again later or contact support directly through your account or administrator—support resources are designed to help with questions about contract, quote software, and proposal software workflows.
